Accompaniment with Dr. Guillaume Vincent
Life Accompaniment
Walking alongside you toward wholeness, integration, and the life you were made for.
When life asks something deeper
There are seasons when the life we have been living no longer quite fits.
You may be navigating a transition, a loss, a relationship, a decision, a recurring pattern, or simply the quiet exhaustion of living a life that no longer feels entirely like your own.
Sometimes the question is clear: What should I do? At other times it is harder to name: Who am I becoming? What is asking for my attention? What needs to change, be grieved, accepted, or lived more fully?
Life Accompaniment creates room for those questions without rushing toward an answer.
A different kind of conversation
Not optimization. Not another project of self-improvement.
At its heart, this is life coaching, but not the conventional kind. Life Accompaniment draws from the contemplative tradition rather than productivity culture.
The work is not primarily about becoming more efficient, successful, impressive, or even becoming a better version of yourself. It is about listening more deeply to your actual life.
We pay attention to what is present, what keeps returning, what has been avoided, what is changing, and what may be trying to emerge.
What we may encounter
Your whole life is welcome here.
There is no fixed curriculum. We begin with what is alive in your life now and listen together for what may be underneath it.
How we work together
I am not the expert on your life.
I do not approach accompaniment as someone standing outside your life with answers about how you should live it.
We listen together. I may question, reflect, challenge, notice patterns, offer another way of seeing what is happening, or help you stay with something that would otherwise be easy to move past.
At other times, the work may simply require enough silence and attention for something quieter to become audible.
Sessions may include contemplative reflection, exploration of family and relational patterns, shadow and inner-child work, somatic awareness, discernment, values exploration, silence, and practical integration into everyday life.
The direction of the work
Becoming more fully yourself.
The work is not ultimately about becoming someone better. It is about becoming more deeply present to the person already here.
To what has been fragmented. To what has been hidden or protected. To what you love. To what asks something of you. To the places where you have learned to leave yourself behind.
Over time, greater clarity and direction often emerge. But so can something quieter and perhaps more important: greater freedom, integrity, presence, connection, and a deeper sense of belonging within your own life.
My approach to accompaniment
Presence before answers.
I have spent much of my life accompanying people through pain, illness, change, uncertainty, and the complicated work of becoming human.
My own formation has moved through medicine and acupuncture, somatic work, contemplative practice, family life, grief, spiritual formation, and my own continuing work of integration.
I do not believe accompaniment requires having another person's answers. It requires presence, curiosity, honesty, compassion, and the willingness to remain with what is real long enough for something new to become possible.
My role is not to lead you toward my version of a meaningful life. It is to walk beside you as you listen more deeply for your own.
Contemplative roots
Spirituality may be part of the conversation, but it does not have to be.
My own life and work are deeply shaped by contemplative practice, spiritual formation, and wisdom encountered across a range of psychological and spiritual traditions.
You do not need to share my beliefs or belong to any religious tradition. Questions of faith, doubt, meaning, God, prayer, spirituality, or inner life are welcome when they are meaningful to you, and they never need to be part of the work.
We begin with your experience, your questions, and what is genuinely alive for you.
Two ways of entering the work
Life Accompaniment or Somatic Attunement?
When life itself is the doorway
Life Accompaniment may be the better fit when what is asking for attention involves transition, relationships, grief, vocation, discernment, recurring patterns, belonging, spiritual questions, or the way you are living your life.
When the body is the doorway
Somatic Attunement may be the better fit when what you are experiencing is strongly felt through tension, anxiety, pain, emotion, nervous system activation, disconnection from the body, or difficulty settling.

Perhaps something here resonates.
You do not need to know exactly what you need or where the work will lead. If you would like to explore whether Life Accompaniment might be helpful, you are welcome to begin with a conversation.

Reflections from people I have accompanied
“ I am continually astounded by his ability to hold space and guide a man to the deepest parts of himself. Not only does he bring immense healing, but he does so with joy, playfulness, and fun. Definitely don’t work with him if you aren’t ready to be asked the hard questions, told the real truth, and show up as your highest self, because he will expect nothing less.
“ He’s helped me gain clarity on what’s important to me, uncover the belief systems and behaviors holding me back, and facilitated the process of unblocking these areas. Guillaume has supported me through divorce, mental illness, and professional progression, and I can honestly say I’m living my best life now as a result.
“ Working with Guillaume has transformed me and my life in ways that other methods — both individual and group psychotherapy — had not. My relationships with my mother and sisters have deepened, and I recently got remarried — something I never thought I would do again.
